“UFO” - the nickname this project had while the design and engineering process. It not only looks like but also was something new for our team, a very fresh idea and extremely challenging throughout all stages from conceptual design to installation and final touches. This project represents the major qualities of lightweight materials we offer to our clients: unique characteristics, outstanding performance, iconic look, and extra value that our projects bring to the site. We combined PVC and ETFE materials not only for aesthetics but also for practical reason as PVC fabric covers the steel space truss structure making it almost invisible for visitors.
“OVNI”: el apodo que tuvo este proyecto durante el proceso de diseño e ingeniería. No solo se ve así, sino que también era algo nuevo para nuestro equipo, una idea muy nueva y extremadamente desafiante en todas las etapas, desde el diseño conceptual hasta la instalación y los toques finales. Este proyecto representa las principales cualidades de los materiales livianos que ofrecemos a nuestros clientes: características únicas, desempeño sobresaliente, apariencia icónica y valor extra que nuestros tabajo aporta a sus proyectos. Combinamos materiales de PVC y ETFE no solo por motivos estéticos, sino también por razones prácticas, ya que el tejido de PVC cubre la estructura de celosía espacial de acero haciéndola casi invisible para los visitantes.
The most exciting time to see this project is at night as with the help of a special lightning system the project looks like a UFO and nobody can pass by without taking a look at it, and to make things even more exciting, due to the site location, this unique project can be seen almost from all major city access points
