PVC

PVC coated polyester membranes are strong and durable fabrics, a popular choice in Textile Architecture due to their cost-benefit ratio and wide range of application. It is composed of a high tenacity polyester fabric coated with flexible plasticized PVC on both sides. Its main benefits are durability, translucency, impermeability, low flammability, resistance to atmospheric conditions and its excellent resistance and filtering of UV rays.

ETFE

ETFE is a film extruded into thin films that is used in textile architecture due to its high transparency and light weight. It is perfect for cold climates or when a greater passage of light is required. It has a weight of about 1% of glass making it a great alternative against glazed structures. Its application is mainly in pneumatic cushions (two to four layers), but it can also be used as a single layer system. ETFE sheet is 100% recyclable and has a service life of more than 35 years.

The main characteristic of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric is its durability, since due to the low adherence of this compound and its immunity to the effects of UV rays, it is extremely resistant to all environmental impacts to which it is exposed. PVC mesh is composed of a high tenacity polyester woven netting and a plasticized flexible PVC coating that surrounds and protects the netting. There is a variety of mesh openings. This type of fabric is durable, lightweight and air permeable and can withstand extreme environmental conditions, humidity and UV radiation. All these characteristics make it a very convenient material to apply on facades and open spaces for shade.
